The Australian Mathematical Olympiad Committee (AMOC) Invitational Program is a program which offers the top students from the Mathematics Challenge for Young Australians (MCYA) and the Australian Mathematics Competition (AMC) extra enrichment opportunities, and can lead to selection in the Australian team to participate in the International Mathematical Olympiad (IMO). The IMO is the pinnacle of competition between students of pre-university level from different countries. Invitational arrangements Participation in our Olympiad program is by invitation. In each state or territory the AMOC State Directors offer and coordinate local training for identified students. They issue invitations to the Senior Contest and the Australian Mathematical Olympiad (AMO).
